A tool for generating contextual documentation from your codebase using MCP protocol with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) capabilities
The server defines 4 tools across prompts and project management. Tools have names following verb_noun conventions (prompt-get, prompts-list, project-switch, projects-list) and descriptions are present. However, schema quality is inconsistent: input schemas exist but lack depth in parameter descriptions, and output schemas are not documented. Descriptions are adequate but generic, missing LLM-optimization guidance on when to use each tool vs. alternatives. No tool annotations (readOnlyHint/destructiveHint) are declared despite risk taxonomy present. Error handling and recovery guidance are absent.
Switch to a different project by path or alias
List all registered projects with their paths, aliases, and configuration details. Also shows whitelisted projects available for the "project" parameter in tools.
Use this tool when you already know the specific prompt ID and need to retrieve its full content. First use prompts-list tool to discover available prompts, then use this tool to get the detailed content of a specific prompt you need. Requires the prompt ID as a parameter.
Use this tool to get a complete list of available prompts and their descriptions. This is useful when you need to discover what prompts exist and determine which might be helpful for your current task.
Output schemas not documented. Tool consumers cannot predict response structure, forcing agents to reason about result fields.
Parameter descriptions missing or minimal. E.g., prompt-get's 'id' parameter lacks guidance on format, source (discover via prompts-list?), or constraints. LLMs cannot reliably construct valid calls.
No error handling guidance. Tools do not return actionable recovery hints (e.g., 'Prompt not found. Call prompts-list to discover available IDs'). Agents cannot self-correct on failures.
Tool annotations missing. Despite risk taxonomy (READ_ONLY, WRITE), no destructiveHint or idempotentHint declared in schema. Agents cannot optimize retry strategy.

Discovery tool descriptions lack guidance. prompts-list and projects-list do not explain when to call them (before get_prompt? to understand available contexts?). LLMs may skip discovery unnecessarily.
