Community-led MCP server for Whop.com Company API — manage payments, memberships, products, promo codes, and more via AI.
whop-mcp provides 28 tools with consistent naming (verb_noun pattern), reasonable descriptions (100-250 chars average), and complete input schemas. However, output schemas are entirely undocumented, error handling lacks recovery guidance, and there are no tool annotations (readOnlyHint/destructiveHint). Parameter descriptions are present but often generic. The server follows basic registration patterns but falls short of production-grade polish in schema transparency, error messaging, and agent-planning support.

Check server connectivity and uptime
Issue a full or partial refund for a payment. Use with caution — this action cannot be undone.
Retry a failed payment attempt for a given payment ID.
Immediately terminate a membership and revoke all access. This is permanent.
Update metadata or notes on a membership record.
Update an existing product's name, visibility, or description.
Update an existing promo code (e.g. disable it or change expiry).
Validate a license key and check if it maps to an active, valid membership.
Void an open or uncollected payment. The payment must not yet be collected.
update_membership accepts arbitrary 'metadata' object with no schema documentation. LLMs cannot know what keys are valid.
Destructive operations (terminate_membership, refund_payment, void_payment, delete_product, delete_promo_code) lack dry-run or confirmation step. Agents cannot ask for approval before executing irreversible actions.
Pagination parameters (page, per) lack constraints. No stated min/max for page number or per_page limit. Unbounded numeric parameters invite LLMs to pass invalid values.
add_free_days and refund_payment accept numeric 'days'/'amount' with no range documentation. Could allow negative or zero values.
